Hi,

I would like to create a daily report (.XLS) using  ODS Tagsets EXCELXP and have this report automatically uploaded to a cloud based storage area (Box).

Has anyone got some experience with this?

Thanks!

Well, you need to copy the resulting .xml file to a given location. What tool do you use to access your cloud based storage outside of SAS?

(And what is the operating system of your SAS server?)

I use a Window 7 Enterprise 64 bit operating system and we have Box for Microsoft Office to upload/access the files.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_file_hosting_services

states that FTP access to Box is possible for Business/Enterprise customers. So you need to confirm that first (use any FTP client to check the connection).

Then define a FILENAME FTP with the proper options, and use the fileref in the FILE= option of the ODS TAGSETS statement.
