Hi All,

I use ODS HTML to output my data to Excel.

ODS HTML body='c:\work1\until.xls' ;
PROC FREQ DATA = lapse1006;
TABLES channel_bill*billfreq;
RUN;
ODS HTML CLOSE;

However, I got following error message:

ERROR: Read Access Violation In Task ( Submit ]
Exception occurred at (63CC5C0D)
Task Traceback

ODS HTML body='c:\work1\until.xls' ;
NOTE: Writing HTML Body file: c:\work1\until.xls
ERROR: Generic critical error.

Then SAS hangs. I never had this issue before. The only difference is I am using EXCEL 2007 now. So could anyone help? Thanks!

Weiz,

Are you sure until.xls is not remain open?

try it in two step
[pre]
ods listing close;
ods noresults;
ods html.......until.htm';

ods html close
ods results;
ods listing;
[/pre]

and then open the htm file from excel2007 open item
