Hi:
All output from the original example is centered when replayed in 9.2 (all graph output was created with centering turned on).

The graph description from DESC= is used for the TOC, whether HTML or PDF. You only fix here is as I previously suggested (running the GCHART with a different DESC= for each graph TOC you want changed).

With my experiment, as I said, the NOCENTER option -did- impact the TABULAR output objects on replay. it did not have an impact on the graphical output. So, my conclustion is that centering of the TABULAR output can be turned off with the NOCENTER option; however centering of the GRAPHICAL output is not impacted by the NOCENTER option.

I don't know what you mean by "back to normal" -- when I ran your code, all output was centered in PDF and HTML.

Thanks Cynthia.

Since the ouput for my last bit of code is centered and on one single page (what I meant by "back to normal") in 9.2.2, I assume the uncancelled page break and the left justification for the graph in 9.1 has been fixed.

So far, I consider the lack of ability to change justification using proc document a shortcoming, and the ToC not picking up the proc document label for graphs a defect. I think I'll raise these as suggestion and with tech support respectively. What do you think?.

One last question to better understand what proc document can do: can it make use of the ODS PDF layout and region definitions or does it just stack all the replayed outputs?

Thanks again for your patience and insight.

Hi:
I think working with Tech Support at this point is a good idea.

I just don't know how ODS LAYOUT/REGION will work with ODS DOCUMENT and REPLAY. I would hope that you would be able to use some of the LAYOUT features, but as ODS LAYOUT is still pre-production at this point, it would be pure speculation on my part as to how it would work. Or, even -if -it would work the same way when production -- would just be a guess. Again, asking Tech Support would be your best resource, they can forward your question to the developers of both ODS DOCUMENT and ODS LAYOUT.
