Hi! Is there any way to create a map of Europe with all of the countries colored according to some pre-defined criteria? I was able to create a map of the US like this by using the "MAPS.US2" dataset along with merging on some frequency count for each state. However, it seems that for Europe, there is only one dataset, and it does not contain the necessary variable to work with PROC GMAP (it was "_map_geometry_" for the US). I see this variable in each of the datasets for European countries, but I was wondering if there was something I could use on a continent level.

BTW - I am using SAS v9.1.3 Service Pack 4.

Thanks!

Hi again!

Nevermind 🙂 I figured out that I can use the MAPS.NAMES datasets, and just select for records where the continent is Europe (continent=93, or use the CONT93_GEO variable as the ID in the PROC GMAP).

Thanks anyway!!
