We have a new HP Proliant 585 with 16 G memory, 8 processors and 1 TB internal SAS storage. Out initial tests show we are running out of memory. We admit that as old mainframers we are learning alot switching to LINUX. Anyone provide ideas

Hi Rod,

This could be due to any number of things, ranging from your -MEMSIZE setting to user shell environment settings.

I'd suggest that you open a track with SAS Tech Support. The UNIX tech support group should be able to quickly resolve your issues.
