Looks like my SQL where clause is being truncated which causes an error when I run it in SAS. The syntax is correct when checked. Was wondering if there is a max length for the where clause of the proc SQL statement? If so, do you know what it is?

Our SQL expert says:

From what I can remember there isn't a max length that PROC SQL sets. However, the forum question didn't say what context that the WHERE clause was being used in. That could make a difference, especially with some of the SAS/ACCESS engines. These engines can actually have varying amounts of space set aside for predicates.

Hi, my WHERE clause consists of a great number of comparison (><,eq) statements, and joining them by AND/OR, and is nested extensively.
