Hi.
I'm using the following syntax inside a ods layout to insert an image. (code portion was found in the white paper given in this link).
One thing i noticed was image size slightly increases and it results in a slightly blurred image. Im not using any scalling. (I have used JPEGQUALITY=100 in the options)
ods pdf file="c:\test.pdf" style=<stylename>;
ods layout start width=8.49in height=10.99in;
ods region x = 0.50 in y = 0.25 in;
ods text = "^{style[preimage='c:\myimage.jpg']}";
ods layout end;
ods pdf close;
I dont know why the image size increases.
Thanks.
What is the DPI of the image ... "myimage.jpg" ?
What version of SAS are u running?
We'll figure it out

Hi:
ODS LAYOUT and ODS REGION are still "pre-production" -- so I am not sure what is happening to cause the behavior you describe. If no one else has any ideas on what is causing your issue, you might want to open a track with Tech Support on this question.

you are awesome Scott !!!
It took some few days to realize that the image scalling was due to default DPI setting in ODS PDF and had no connection with ods layout or region.
I specified the correct DPI at the ods pdf statement and everything worked percfectly.
Thanks everyone.
