How to get the "Share Workbook" feature while creating multi sheet work book from SAS by using Execlxp tagset?
I believe that only XLSX, as in "real" EXCEL files can be Shared. You would need to save the XML workbook created by EXCELXP tagset as XLSX and then switch on sharing. Depending on your OS that could be automated from within the same JOB that creates the XML.
Hi,
Can u give an example which helps me to understand easily.
Regards
Ramesh
In this thread is my example of how to save XLS as XLSX. You will need to figure out what command to add to make the workbook shared. I would but I no longer have PC/SAS.
See for an example Powershell script that will save an ODS Excel tagsets file as XLSX.
You'll need to Google for the Excel automation command that turns on Sharing, so you can add that to the script.
