Hi All,

I work on Base and Remote SAS. I connect it using sign on providing the authentications . Is it possible to know the date when i have changed the password last time. Remote sas in unix os.

Please help me.

Well you have to explain why you are asking this. What is the higher goal?

When your installation is done with external authentication you can get a well secured "hardened" environment.

The problem however is that OS support people do not want to have users that are really using theis machines,  the advanced analists data scientists. Some suppliers are believing the OS support are right and they together are effectively  frustrating analists.  Sorry for that.

You could get user information listed from LDAP or local-system showing the information you are asking for.

The bad thing is that those parts are only getting with comnans at a high priviledged level (root). You are needing sudo allowance with some limitation on those commands and shell access to the OS. That is the same as having X-CMD with SAS and then using pipe commands.

Some Unix version are using different commands for that info.
