I'm looking for a way to grab an email attachment and be able to use the CSV file to load in a dataset. Is this possible? I was thinking that I would have the email auto forwarded to a mailbox that I have access to, so I can read it or save it.

Thanks,
Nick

Hi:
Is the email attachment a CSV file??? If the CSV file is accessible to SAS on a disk location, then you should be able to read the CSV file with PROC IMPORT or a DATA step program. I am not sure that SAS would be able to "grab" the email attachement while the file was still on a mail server or still attached to a mail message. This would be a question for Tech Support.

To send a question to Tech Support, go to http://support.sas.com/ and in the left-hand navigation pane, click on the link entitled "Submit a Problem". Alternately, you can go directly to the Tech Support Problem Form here:
