Add “N/A” to a Percent Format

Hi all—

I have been using the format percent6 but I need to alter it a little so all missing values are “N/A”. Is there a way to write a format that will do that?

I suppose you need something called "nested" format:

proc format;

value pct

      low-high=[percent6.]

      other=N/A;

run;

data have;

input pct @@;

format pct pct6.;

cards;

0.1 0.21 . 0.321

;

proc print;run;
