• Iain Adamson is a data scientist and SAS administrator for ScottishPower. He tells the story of how the SAS platform has evolved over the last ten years and how the changing demands on the platform created a need to build out a security model that was simpler to manage and audit. Metacoda provide a solution to SAS security and identity management that lightens the administrative burden and provides diagnostic capabilities to eliminate gaps in your security policies.

• In software development, unit testing has been a standard for many years. Unfortunately, this is not the case with Business Intelligence. The knowledge and technical support are generally lacking. I will show how to do this in SAS DI Studio while I explain what the challenges were and how I solved them. Hopefully it can inspire to better solution and better design of BI systems in the future.
