We would like to invite you and your colleagues to an inspiring half a day network meeting focused on data governance and how it can mitigate risks and build significant value for your organization.

Who should join? The members from your team that will benefit from the agenda are people, that work with data, data quality and data governance on a daily basis. Example of profiles:

Agenda:

8:30-9:00: Arrival and light breakfast

9:00-9:10: Introduction

9:10-10:00: Data Governance within AML and Fraud Prevention. Recent years have shown an increased regulatory focus on data governance within the AML and Fraud Prevention area. We will touch upon these focuses and what you can do to mitigate the risks identified by the regulator.

10:00-10:15: Network break

10:15-11:00: What Elements to Include in Your Data Strategy. Based on SAS's 40 years of history deriving insights and making informed decisions from data, the agenda will present SAS recommendations for what to consider in your data strategy. A SAS principal advisor will be joined by a SAS customer who will expand on the recommendations with concrete references and examples from their daily work.

11:00-11:15: Network break

11:15-12:15: Data Governance, Data Quality, and DataOps: The agenda point will take the basis in the four areas of data culture from the McKinsey report "Optimizing data controls in banking." The four areas are Scope of Data Programs, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Transaction Testing. The session will feature concrete use cases and live demonstrations linked to these four areas.

12:15-1:00: Lunch

You and your colleagues can attend physically at the SAS office in Copenhagen or online. At the SAS office, we offer complimentary breakfast and lunch. We recommend attending physically for your team to benefit from the informal network discussions during the breaks and lunch.
