Good afternoon friends.
There was an idea to launch marketing campaigns in SAS CIS from oracle 12 base.
In more detail:
1. From an external source, a job is sent to Oracle
2. Oracle initiates the launch of the campaign in SAS CIS with all parameters (text, template, date, time and type of communication)

I wanted to know, maybe someone already did this?
I would be grateful for any information

SAS Version: 9.4m5
Oracle Version: 12

You probably need to ask this question in the CI forum https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Customer-Intelligence/bd-p/sas_ci

I know close to nothing about SAS CI but I guess you would need to answer the following questions:

1. How can you trigger a SAS CI campaign passing in parameters (for example via REST)?

2. How do you issue such a call from within Oracle (I'm sure Oracle provides options like REST)?

3. Does security allow for it? Are the ports open etc.

Hello patrick

1. What is REST, is there material?
2. point 1

REST is a very common way how computers/applications can communicate with each other. Please Google the term if you don't know what it is.

Here something I found just doing a quick search using Google search terms: SAS CI REST

1. The start of the campaign can be done through crontab. RAST we do not use, SOAP
2. We are not starting the Oracle campaign yet. My goal is to find out who can do this?
3. Full access without restrictions
