Are you running content from a project that was created in a different environment?  I think that in your case, this message is saying that data or code that you're trying to access/run is defined to a SAS server that you can't access.  For example, if your program is targeting the "SASApp" server, you won't be able to get to that in the "No profile" mode.

Check the View->Server List to see what servers you have available, and make sure that all of your content is assigned accordingly.  If you're moving this project from an environment with differently named servers, look at Tools->Project Maintenance to remap to your current setup.

Thanks, worked for EG 8.2 connecting to Viya

@shaar - Correct. In EG 8.2 and higher you can connect directly to a SAS Workspace server without creating a metadata profile. This means you can use it with SAS Viya.

Hi

We have SAS Enterprise Guide 8.3 and there is not Tools->Project Maintenance to remap to your current setup. Is is somewhere else?

@HannuSihvonen It's there, but you do have to open a project file to see it enabled.

Thanks Chris!

It works one by one. Is there a method to do it to all project files all at once?

Yes, use the Migration Wizard application that's included with SAS Enterprise Guide.

It sounds like Enterprise Guide is not able to connect to SAS. See if this post looks helpful to you https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Enterprise-Guide/How-to-run-a-program-in-EG5-1-without-connecting...
