I am trying to use the macro %logcheck   however macro does not resolve and does not auto populate like other preinstalled macros.

I am using SAS enterprise guide 7.1 (SAS 9.4) on windows 7 (32-bit)

Is there a way to install macros?

That is some user generated paper showing what they have done, not standard EG install!  Follow the paper, download the code from the link provided, then %include that to be able to use it.

Do note also that the paper is from 2012, its likely that your company already has its own process for this, and newer editors for SAS sometimes already have log checking functionality.

There is no logcheck macro as far as I am aware.   What has led you to believe there was one?  Is this something your company have built, if so you would need to add it to the sasautos command from your startup file, or %include it.
