code below it. Is it a catalog or library problem? I am not sure what a
catalog is? MM

I have no idea what the code is doing. I am not running proc logistic but it is picking the code up somewhere.

Your main program (the code you posted at first) ran fine.

But the file it was including has about 100+ lines of data in front followed by some actual SAS code.

Looks a lot like the include file is missing the start of the code, like a DATA step with a CARDS of DATALINES statement in front of the lines of data that could convert those lines into an actual scenic SAS dataset.

Can you see the file scenic.txt is the Files and Folders tab of the SAS/Studio user interface?

If so get the properties of the and copy the path.

 

Not that on unix filenames are case sensitive.  So MyData is not the same directory name as mydata.  And Scenic.txt is not the same filename as scenic.txt.

 

Does the text file actually contain SAS code?  That is what the %INCLUDE() command does.  It reads the lines from the specified file and treats them as if they were part of your program.

I am reading in data, not SAS code. That explains a lot of things right now. I am a little embarrassed by that. I recently figured out multiple ways to read data sets. It involved an infile statement and I learned how to specify a subdirectory of the home directory online. It looks like I need to scratch this right now and think about how I can use it. I actually have an application I am working on right now where I can. I will give it a try. Thank you. MM
