Hi.

We are working with a server install of SAS.  We have several reports going out hourly to our companies, delivering to internal company personal email addresses, along with company email groups.

Recently, our company has cracked down on "external" emails sending emails to email groups.  They keep locking them down to be able to receive from internal addresses only.  Since SAS emails are coming from the sas server, the address is not showing as internal and we are getting bounced.  They can make us approved senders on some lists, but it causes a lot headaches to constantly have to go back and forth getting us added to various list.

Is there some way on the server to make it come from an internal address?

It currently is coming from an email like... sasserver@servername.database.local; on behalf of; Me <MarketingOps@companyname.com>

Is there a way to make it actually come from marketingops@companyname.com, so that it get through the filter? Is there a setting in SAS Management Console somewhere?

Or, should I just keep having us added as accepted senders?

Thanks!

Security is costly and emails are one big security issue.

depending on your company you might just have to live with their rules.
