What editor are you using?  With Display Manager I just use the CHANGE command.

If I need something to separate the values I usually use | character.

ch '09'x '|' all

If I just want to treat the text as one long field then I change them to a space instead.

One might ask why you are pasting data into Excel at all and from what source?

Are you copying SAS Results or Output window text? That might be better off sending output directly to Excel files using the ODS Excel when creating the output.
