I've checked the way in which I've referenced the file and it is correct.

It's likely correct for your computer but not for SAS UE, which is running via a virtual machine and is set up only via shared folders. So the path to the shared folders are in a unix format. 

 

Post your code and log. If you get an error search here. 

 

Your path must be in the format of something like below, depending on where you put the file. You can find the file under Servers Folder and Files pane and then you can right click it, select properties and the path will be there for you. Remember paths are always relative to something else, and in this case you need to make sure the path is correct relative to the SAS installation, not your local machine. 

 

/folders/myfolders/Yourfoldername/yourfileName
data_null__

I'll guess the file is on your PC and needs to be on the SAS server or a share that SAS has access to.

I have saved the excel files in myfolders under sasuniversityedition, but I'm still getting the same error.
