I'm working w/SAS EG 7.4 and querying from a large data table with hundreds of data columns. Numerous times I've been unable to locate a specific data variable and yet a co-worker  - also using SAS EG - is able to open up table and find the variable. Are there limitations?

He mentioned something in regards to implicit / explicit pass through but I'm not well versed on the technical aspects.

Any assistance appreciated.

Pass-through points to an external database system that you connect to.

Maybe your DB user has different permissions there than the one of your co-worker.

How exactly are you accessing the table?
