Good morning.  I've enjoyed reading all the various posts.  @DarthPathos I see that you work in a hospital.  I am a new SAS user.  I work in health insurance industry.  Do you know of a place where I can get free de-identified data claims data?  I've been pulling data for years.  I spent many years auditing medical claims, and now i'm transitioning into a research analyst position.  I need to find some raw claims data that is PHI de-identified so that I can learn various ways new ways to analyze data with SAS.

Thanks

Willie

Search CMS/Medicare data especially if you're in the US. There have been various releases over time as well as the aggregate medicare files.

DarthPathos is in Canada and our data is very different than what you would work with in the US if you're American.

Reeza,

Thanks for your response.  I did know that DarthPathos was from Canada.  I've been digging through stuff on the CMS website.
