Hi
I used the code below.
Idcode is the label for cite_come so that column showed "idcode". I tried to remove the label but there is a note saying "Variable idcode is uninitialized". How can I solve this issue? Thanks.
proc sql; create table want
as select a.*, b.idcode as cite_com
from have1 as a, have2 as b
where a.Var1=b.Var2;
quit;
data want;
set want;
label idcode = ' ';
run;
.

You have renamed the b.idcode as cite_com in proc sql so you need to use cite_com=' '
proc sql; create table want
as select a.*, b.idcode as cite_com
from have1 as a, have2 as b
where a.Var1=b.Var2;
quit;
data want;
set want;
label cite_com = ' ';
run;
