Hello,

I need guidance in merging the different NEDS files (Core, IP, Hospital, and ED files) for the year 2016 to create a single SAS datasets with the variables from each file that I need for analyses. I have uploaded each of these files individually in SAS (created SAS datasets for each file).

Thank you!

In order to get help with this, you need to provide additional information. At a minimum:

  1. PROC CONTENTS output for each of the data sets you HAVE
  2. A description of how you would choose which rows from the data sets belong together (join criteria)
  3. A list of all the variables required in the output dataset.
