Hello, I am trying to create a residuals variable res. My code is below. Output is not highlighted blue when I try it, and I don't know why.

 

proc anova
data = midterm;
class group;
model days = group;
output out = groupres p = pred r = res;
run;

Please try PROC GLM instead:

proc glm data = midterm;
class group;
model days = group;
output out = groupres p = pred r = res;
run;
