Is the free online training from sas enough for base sas certification exam?

I believe you talking about the SAS Programming 1: Essentials e-learning course.

It is a very great foundation tool. But in my opinion, it is not enough to cover all topics to get prepared for the exam.

I encourage you to test your knowledge with the sample questions (free download) and take the free practice exam, so you can have a better overview of which topics you need to practice more.
