I'm a data science student and I'll be working on my undergraduate project this semester. The project uses SAS software and relies on using extensive statistical analyses to come to conclusions about the questions asked. I'm really interested in economics and I would like to explore a topic from the field and work on it for my project. Anything under the umbrella of economics interests me really, and I'm fairly comfortable with the theory. I am wondering if anyone knows of any SAS projects that I can look at for inspiration.

Please note that I intend to do the whole work and have no interest in plagiarizing anyone's work. I'm new to the field and I want to see examples that help me structure my work and choose topics, siince I have never done this before. This is very important for me as it will be my first porfolio item; I would appreciate anything you could direct me to.

Hi @davidbrok7, this might interest you: A guy here SAS used our software to source sheet metal to build roofs after the devastating earthquake in Nepal. He sifted United Nations Comtrade data to find local suppliers and created reports with SAS. Here's a short video: IOM Brings Release to Nepal with SAS Analytics. I'm sure you'll find something interesting to pursue. There's no shortage of data!
