My SAS dataset is 4.83 GB. I can import it, but can't open it.

How can I open the dataset?

What do you mean by "open"? Did you try to browse the dataset using some graphical user interface tool?  How do you expect to browse 5 gigabytes of data?
What happens if you run CODE against the dataset?  Try PROC CONTENTS first.  Then PROC MEANS.  Do those work?

Thank you, I know it now. I am still a new SAS user.
