I would like to compare the different methods of matching using simulated data first and apply it to real data

GMATCH for greedy matching, there's a Mayo clinic macro for it.
PROC PSMATCH for propensity matching, check the documentation for examples.
Mayo clinic has several macros with different matching algorithms.

This is a very general question, and all I can give you is a very general answer.

 

Go to your favorite internet search engine, and type in one or the other or both of these:

 

SAS codes for propensity score match

SAS codes for mahalanobis distance matching
