SAS Viya: Optimal Binning

Hello everyone,

I am looking in SAS Viya for the equivalent task to Optimal Binning available in SAS EMiner.

I see there are some options (bucket, quantile...) but cannot find an easy way to perform binning with respect to a given response variable.

Any suggestion?

I have same problem. Is not there optimal binning option in Viya like Miner? As far as i can see, it is not available.

Any suggestion about that binning option with target relationship? @giugiglia @SAS_Cares @WendyCzika

If you are using Model Studio, then yes - in the Transformations node, the "Tree-based binning" option for interval inputs is equivalent to optimal binning in Enterprise Miner.  Hope that helps!
