Hi:
Typically, you get that error when you run the SAS OnDemand for Academics instructions on the wrong server. The program in the zip file for SAS OnDemand for Academics will ONLY work on the cloud server.

If you are using SAS University Edition, we have explicit instructions and a different zip file for SAS University Edition.

How are you using SAS? That is the first question. If you are using SAS Studio, what does your SAS Studio window look like? The URL at the top of the screen will have "odamid.oda.sas.com" if you are using SAS OnDemand for Academics. My guess is that the URL at the top of the screen is for SAS University Edition (Programming 1 has instructions for this method) or the URL at the top of the screen says "Localhost" (means that you're using SAS in Local mode and Programming 1 has instructions for this method).

If you're using SAS Enterprise Guide, then there are explicit instructions for Enterprise Guide.

It sounds to me like you've followed the wrong instructions. There are 5 choices on the setup screen. You've got to pick the instructions for YOUR method of using SAS. The instructions are NOT the same.

Hope this helps,
Cynthia

In SAS UE all paths start with /folders/myfolder.
