SAS ODM ItemDef Name

Hi,

For SAS ODM variable of ItemDef Name what is max length this variable should have? I am researching and not able to find it. Appreciate community help.

If this is in relation to CDISC it appears that the limit using LONGNAMES=YES is 32 characters.

Thank you. It is to create the ODM file. So in another words this variable ItemDef Name can be 32 Characters long?

Is there a article that defines this?

I found this in the CDISC online documentation searching for ODM. I haven't used any of that procedure so can't provide more details.
