I just completed the Querying and Reporting 1 Guide and was wondering what is the next course i should start to continue to advance my learning?
Hi: The "Querying and Reporting" course is an Enterprise Guide course that shows point and click techniques. If you want to learn how to write programs, then the free Programming 1 course is the place to start. You CAN do the Programming 1 course using Enterprise Guide. Enterprise Guide has an editor and you can type and submit code from within that Editor.
In the Programming 1 class, we have a Course Overview and Setup section that shows EXACTLY how to make the class data using Enterprise Guide. In addition, here's a video that shows the process: https://youtu.be/ZRpl6KuE8t8
On the other hand, IF you want to keep using point and click techniques, then after Enterprise Guide 1, we have 3 classes, that you could take next. All 3 classes are shown here, http://support.sas.com/training/us/paths/eg.html on the Enterprise Guide learning path.
If you want to do more with querying and data manipulation, then take Enterprise Guide 2; if you want more to do with reporting and graphing, then take the Reports and Graphs class; and if you want to learn how to do basic statistical analysis with EG, then take the ANOVA and Regression class.
None of these classes, however, are free classes (unless your company has the kind of account with free access or your school has the kind of license with free access). For most students, only the programming classes: Programming 1 and Statistics 1 are free as self-paced e-learning.
Hope this helps,
Cynthia
I only have access to SAS Enterprise Guide , can this course be completed with this program?
