Recently my company upgraded from SAS 9.3 to 9.4. Since the upgrade, SAS will not allow me to output files to a target ODS destination without appending a default destination of "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\SAS Temporary Files" to the beginning of whatever output location I enter myself. Two questions:

  1. How can this default be changed or over-ridden?

  2. Is there a good guide to enterprise SAS administration out there? Or even better a checklist for fresh installations to avoid headaches like this one?
