Reading data with semi-colon

I would like to read text data with semi-colon as in below code.

My data has only 1 column of text

Use datalines4 instead of datalines for reading the inline data with semicolons.

data have;
infile datalines dlm="|";
length var $ 30000;
input var $;
datalines4;
afdasb
12132ndfd
df;dfd;
semi;colon;;;fa
