Hi,

I am working as a data manager and are transforming data between different software. I use SAS but some of my colleagues are using SPSS and STATA. Now to my question.

Some of the variables have the special characters, åäö, due to the Swedish alphabet. When these characters are correct in SAS they do not work in SPSS and STATA and when they are correct in SPSS and STATA they do not work in SAS.

Are there any ideas how to solve this?

I appreciate your help.

/Martin
