Hello,

I try to merge to tables with a column (genes) wich have not exactly the same names at the end of the value. So, I obtain a table with too much lines. I have 24404 genes.

This is the result of merge by the column genes.

For example, in the first table, the names are DSE, in the second table the names are longer DSE ENSG.

I want to drop ENSG of the second table but I can't arrive.

If you can help me (I am a beginner).

Thank you very much,

Nathalie
