How can I add a .sas file to my library in SAS University edition?

A .sas file is a program, not a dataset. Only datasets, views and catalogs (where the file has a .sas7bdat, .sas7bvew or .sas7bcat extension) can be added to a library by storing them in the directory for which the LIBNAME was defined.
