JSL Import CSV - change column data type to numeric

First of all thank you for your support.

I am just getting started with JMP and am already facing the first challenge. I want to import multiple csv files( Pick file, multiple...) and want to concancate them into one. So far so good... As i wanted to run my first analysis, I checked the data types of the columns. Turns out I need  to change the data type. I checked the column properties and tried to change the data type manually and by JSL. The result are empty cells with just a dot...not possible to further process the data. The values of the column contain mixed integers and float numbers.

Any ideas how to solve this issue?
