Hello,

I have a proc export statement which I use in many of my SAS projects that have never given me any errors or issues. It works great.

However, I'm working on a new SAS project and when i use the same proc export statement (just with different file names), I get this "ERROR: Invalid physical name."  I don't understand why this is happening.  I've tried googling this error but nothing I can find online seems to pertain to what I'm doing here.

Anyone have any ideas??  I attached a screen shot of the program statement and error.  I am using SAS EG 8.1.

Thank you!

See those asterisks in your filename at the end of the log? They happen because your value in cal_mth_dt can't be properly displayed with the monyy7. format.

Inspect your dataset sensors_final.

Thanks, Kurt!  You are right, it doesn't like this CAL_MTH_DT.  Looks like it's in date/time format so I updated my MONYY7. format to DTMONYY7. and that worked!

Thank you for your guidance!
