Hi:
It's probably NOT too hard. But it seems that you might be confused about what you need to do. For example, your title asks about Enterprise Miner batch processing in Model Studio, but your command line seems to be running or trying to run Enterprise Guide. If you are trying to run a batch job in Model Studio, you should have someone who did the installation and configuration of Model Studio. I would assume that the group they are in knows SAS.

Perhaps you can find someone to help you decide what is it exactly that you need to do and how you need to do it.

Jumping straight into batch processing, if you're not familiar with with SAS might be a steep learning curve, but with some help to figure out what you're running at your shop and exactly what you need to do, it should be easier.

Hi:
It looks to me as though you're running Enterprise Guide, not Enterprise Miner. However, here's the help for batch processing with Enterprise Miner: https://go.documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=emref&docsetTarget=p03qh74qwzo1xmn0z88hibl1qjjj.htm&docse...

hey cynthia

I use sas enterprise guide and SAS basis.
I am new to this and is the only one in my department that uses SAS, I know it will be a steep learning curve,
But I try to work quietly and quietly through it.

thank you for the help.

The SYSIN option applies only to the SAS command, not SAS Enterprise Guide (which connects to SAS as a client).   However, you can use SAS Enterprise Guide to run SAS programs in a batch-like process.  See this article for more information.

Hi ChrisHemedinger

I will try to look at that link and see if it is too difficult for me.
