I have this line of code:
street=catx(' ',scan(line2,2),scan(line2,3));
I need to capitalize all of the characters in the variable and also abbreviate some words in the same variable. I tried using the "upcase" function but had no luck. Can anyone provide assistance in accomplishing this?
What do you mean by abbreviate some words?
Change Road to Rd., Street to St., Avenue to Ave.
And those are the only abbrevaitions?
Yes.
