Hi Everyone,

I would like to know if there's a way to check who created a user or group. In my organization, there are multiple admin that have the rights to create a user or a group. It would be great to know which particular user did the creation.

Using SAS Environment Manager Administration on https://Your-SAS-Web-Server/SASEnvironmentMgrMidTier/ displays who created and who modified a group. I am not sure whether SMC displays the same info (can't check it).

In most cases, SAS user/group metadata will be routinely synchronized from an external source (operating system or LDAP), so you will have to consult there, as SAS metadata would only "see" the user used to run the batch job.

You can use the metabrowse feature in Base SAS to check the Responsible Parties.

It's also possible in Data Controller for SAS - with the MetaNav feature:
