We use JReview and currently are loading cumulative sas on demand datasets from Medidata Rave studies into an oracle database using the SASDBLOAD utility provided by the JReview vendor. We are considering leaving the data as sas datasets and using JReview directly on the SAS datasets. But we still want to only apply incremental updates - which are created from the data in Medidata Rave. Is there a standard utility in the SAS Suite that allows for the application of incremental datasets?

Are you using one of our OnDemand Solutions like SAS Clinical Trials? We would recommend opening a technical support track for this type of issue. We can open a track for you if you want to provide us your contact information or you can work directly with technical support and can contact them here https://www.sas.com/en_us/contact/technical-support.html

We are not currently using any SAS product directly. Currently we are getting Rave SAS OnDemand datasets and loading them to an rdbms for use with JReview for reporting. We are considering installing JReview on top of the SAS datasets - but would still want to be able to apply the incremental updates to the cumulative datasets. But I do not see any documentation about how to do this.

We would recommend then in that case that you search our knowledge base to see if you can locate some helpful resources on this topic

I don't think this is a SAS question if you're not using any SAS products, its more a question for your RDMS or JReview.

SAS DI can build incremental sets but any process I've seen requires some logic to be coded in as incremental does change from data set to data set. Though working with clinical data sets there are likely standards that could be generalized.
