Hi all,

I need help to install Cloudera ODBC Driver for Impala on Linux RedHat 6.

I use SAS 9.4 and need to install the engine/driver to use Impala library option. I already have the driver and unixODBC installed and environment variables configured as described on https://www.cloudera.com/documentation/other/connectors/impala-odbc/latest/Cloudera-ODBC-Driver-for-... page 33

However, i keep getting the error Impala engine cannot be found.

Probably there are a lot of more steps needed to be done, but i'm clueless here.

A lit bit of guidance would be immensely appreciated!

thanks in advance,

Daniel

You could check some previous community posts under the Administration and Deployment board that might help. See this one https://communities.sas.com/t5/Administration-and-Deployment/Configuring-Cloudera-ODBC-Driver-for-Im... If that doesn't help, you may want to open a technical support track https://support.sas.com/en/technical-support/contact-sas.html
