Hi,

I am trying to copy paste a code from word to Sas On Demand but the command V function ( mac ) is not working. I also tried right click/paste and it does not work. Any ideas why I cant copy paste?

Thanks!

It's the Apple + V function on a mac and copy and paste on a mac only works via keyboard shortcuts. There's a notice about that at start up when you log in - make sure to read it before dismissing it. If it still isn't working try a different browser.
I use a Mac and have no issues copying and pasting but not on Big Sur yet, too problematic for me.

I have also been having the same issue with my Macbook. I have no problems copying and pasting with Command+C / Command+V in Microsoft Word or any other platform, but I'm having two issues:

1) If I copy anything from another platform, SAS OnDemand won't let me paste the code in it's window with Command+V (nor with the paste function on the SAS OnDemand toolbar); I am only able to paste into SAS OnDemand other code that I have copied from SAS OnDemand, and when doing that, I can only do so using the toolbar paste function, not the Command+V shortcut

2) Whenever I try to use any Command+V / C / X shortcut in SAS OnDemand, it will not work. Instead, as soon as I press the command button, it acts as if I had right clicked, and then gives me a list where I have to select whether I want to copy, paste, cut, etc.

Does anyone know why I cannot paste things in SAS OnDemand that I have copied from elsewhere, and why the Command+V / C / X shortcuts do not work within SAS OnDemand? I never used to have this issue, but it started recently...

Thanks for your help!

I have the same issue on macOS Big Sur v11.2.2, Google Chrome v90.0.4430.85, using the SAS Studio OnDemand webb-app.

In my case the issue is is my external keyboard.

I have setup my external keyboard in such a way that the control-key (lower-left side) is interpreted as my command-key on MacOS (it is not an Apple product). Something seems to go wrong here though, since control+V on my external keyboard doesn't work, while command+V on my MacBook Pro embedded keyboard does. Something to look out for if you are on MacOS!

I have a Mac and I am sick of the stupid popup window in SAS Studio that prevents me form cutting and pasting in Studio without a window popup that blocks me from cutting or pasting within Studio.  I am on Big Sur. Does anyone out there have a clue? I already know about command+c and command+v or else I would be complaining that it doesn't work.  Please someone tell how to turn this infuriating pop-up window off.

Thank you,

Nina
