Converting BLOB data to Image by executing JavaScript in SAS

Hi,

 

Is it possible to convert a blob data type in DB2 using SAS? If not, it is possible to run a javascript or JAR Object in SAS to convert the blob data type into an image instead?

BLOB storage capability has been added to SAS Viya: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Communities-Library/Viya-3-4-BLOBs-in-CAS/ta-p/521513

 

It is not available in SAS 9.x.

 

Viya would be the only way to read BLOBS from DB2 into SAS.
