Hi,

So I am comparing two tables to get the difference, but I would like to know how can you compare the two tables but ignore specific columns? For example I want to get compare columns A, B, C and D in both tables except column E and F. In the output table I want all columns, but the differences between A,B,C and D.

Here is the column I have used to compare ALL columns:

Proc SQL;

	create table table_Differences as

	/* new file*/
	select * from work.New_File

	except

	/* old File*/

	select * from work.Old_File;

quit;
