Running the macro Summmacro available here: http://www.sascommunity.org/wiki/Summtable
Previously it has worked fine. now code is stuck on proc print.
Code that has previously worked fine now when I call the macro (from work library) im stuck on proc print.
if i stop the procedure at start another procedure it will stop on "running".
any idea Whats going on?
Are there errors in the LOG?

I can run other code including other macros fine.
When attempting to debug macro behavior the minimum should be to set:
options mprint;
Run the code.
Copy all the generated code and messages from the log and paste into a code box opened using the forum's {I} or "running man" icon.
The code box is important to preserve formatting of any warning or error messages and maintain readability.
Otherwise about all we can say is that if the program ran before that you data has a problem.
Running my code gives me this:

any input? Im still stuck on this.
would like to stress that the code have not been changed in any way since it was working; it just suddenly doesn't work.
I've resently switched to running on SAS sever instead of locally.
"Suddenly doesn't work" if the code has not changed has the most likely cause as something in the actual data, missing values or out or expected range are my first suspects.
Next would be an environment change. Since you say you change to a server environment then look at things related to permissions and Paths. It is almost certain that any output path you used locally won't work unchanged on a remote server. And if the path was verified to match what the server would expect then you likely need to ensure that you have write permissions for the destination. Another element to investigate is working space. You may have exceeded your work space or destination folder file size limits.
I am not going to fight with the forums horizontal scroll to make any guesses about the text that goes too far to the right to read easily, so some of the text that is there may be part of the issue but can't point to it. (The problem is having to go to the bottom of the window to scroll and then finding the place needed after that with such a long post. This might require attaching a text file of the log for readability.)
I would actually look at the step(s) following that proc print. I suspect they are more likely to cause a problem than printing a data set with that small number of observations and variables. Typically something "hanging" doesn't actually text like the proc print to the log.
I just recently had this problem - my issue was any procedure that printed output. Try typing end; in the command bar while on the output window - I was able to force my way through the print parts that way, but ultimately it was an environment setting.
I opened a second instance of SAS. The second instance had to use a default profile since I was already using my profile in the first instance (message NOTE: Unable to open SASUSER.PROFILE. WORK.PROFILE will be opened instead.NOTE: All profile changes will be lost at the end of the session.). Printing procedures worked as expected in the second instance of SAS - and the program ran faster in the second instance for some reason. From there I was able to compare my environment settings to see what was different between the 2 profiles -- which was a waste of time. 🙂 It was a preference that had been reset somehow. I unclicked "Create listing" within Tools->Preferences->Results and that worked for me. But try a second SAS instance and then at least you will know if a saved profile\enviro setting is the issue.
