I am giving into peer pressure and trying to learn R. I was trained to use SAS as a social scientist. A lot of the R guides provide hours/pages of material I suspect I do not need, and a lot of tutorials bypass information I need, but may be taken for granted by users from other backgrounds. I am particularly struggling with preparing data for statistical analyses.

@mangorosi

Have a look at this site: https://rosettacode.org/wiki/Rosetta_Code

It will provide you with more than what you need 😉

It has lists of tasks/problems and provided solutions/implementations in multiple programming languages

Hope this helps
